It’s the first residential Government Land Sales (GLS) tender for this year. This is a plum site in the Ferrer Park area. This site attracts 10 bids from the developers and a robust bid price that showed the developer’s hunger for the land.
City Developments (CDL) and Joint Venture partner MCL Land emerged as the top bidder at $445.9 million, this translates into $1,129 per sq ft per plot ratio (psf ppr).
Piccadilly Grand Condo is expected to develop into a mixed-use project comparing 408 residential units of up to 23 storeys and commercial retail space. There will be infant care and childcare centre on the ground floor.
Analysts say that the new project at Northumberland Road Condo may be launched at between $1,900 – $2,300 psf. (source: straits times)
